Dr. Evangelia Markaki completed her post-doc research in Applied Statistics with Innovation and Research Scholarship from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she teaches as lecturer since 2016She also teaches at Karlsruhe Univeristy, Germany since 2018.

Dr. Markaki is project manager for surveys and researches both in Greece and abroad. She has an important experience in the private sector as Head of the Human Resources Management department, responsible for recruitment and selection proceses, workforce planning, training and development programs as well as assessment programs. She has conducted more than 5.200 interviews in the recent years.

Since 2008 she works in business consulting, in the field of vocational guidance, career development and coaching. Dr. Markaki has been specialized in the application of psychometric tools, the human learning styles and the brain function. She is responsible for career planning and development processes in organizations, providing career coaching services to adolescents, to adults and to unemployed as well as outplacement programs in companies. She holds a GDPR Specialist & DPO certificate.

She worked for the National Insurance Company,  the Greek Broadcasting Corporation (ERT), the regional channel Blue Sky, the Athens 2004 Athens Olympic Games in Athens Olympic Broadcasting (AOB) in consulting companies such as Kienbaum, Evresis Consulting and in VPRC a polls and surveys company.

Since 2009 she is lecturer in universities in Greece and abroad (such as Derby University, City University of Seattle , Cardiff University, University of Hertfordshire, Queen Mary University) .  She teaches courses on Human Resources Management, Leadership, Employee Relations, Professional and Personal Development, Applied Statistics, Game Theory and Strategic decision making.

She is a graduate of Communication and Mass Media Studies department at the University of Athens. In 2007 she graduated with honor from the Master of Human Resource Management program at the Athens University of Economics and Business.

She participates presenting academic work in workshops and conferences in Greece and abroad (more than 30 academic publications). She is invited speaker in conferences and seminars of private and public institutions. She speaks four foreign languages: French, English, Italian and German. She is a member of Scientific and Professional Unions such as: the European and International Research Association, the International Political Science Association, the Institute of Communication, Human Resources Management, Business Management Associations and Data Analysis associations.

From 2016 until 2020, she was a member of the management board of the Institute for Human Resources Management (EIMAD) of Hellenic Management Association (EEDE).

In 2020 she published her first book: ” Who influences, who is influenced?” (Epikentro publications).

In 2021 she was nominated for a GIWA (Greek International Women Award) among 169 candidates from 13 countries all over the world.

In 2023 she is nominated for a GIWA (Greek International Women Award) among 204 candidates from 15 countries all over the world.

 

Theodore Chadjipantelis is a Professor at the Department of Political Science in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from its establishment (2001). He works in Aristotle University since 1981. He graduated from the Department of Mathematics and received his PhD for the Department of Statistics and Operational Research. He taught in the Department of Mathematics (1981-1990), in the department of Education (1990-2001) as well as in the University of Thessaly (1994-1995) and the Hellenic Open University (2008, 2010). He has been elected vice head of the Department of Education (1995-97) and head of the Department (1997-2001), vice head in the Political Science Dept. (2004-06) and head (2006-09), (2013-2015).

Since April 2010 till 2012 he was Board Member of “Information Society SA” and since 2011 he is President of the Managing Committee at the University of Western MacedoniaHe was a member of the Special Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Interior Decentralization and E-government for the new architecture of Administration and Regional Administration as well as the Special Committee for the electoral law.He has been member of the National Committee for Administrative Reform of the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization (as a representative of Aristotle University). He is also a member of the scientific Committee of the “Institute of Local Government” (Κ.Ε.Δ.Κ.ΕΤ.Ε.Δ.Κ.Ν.Α.).

He has been President at the Central Macedonia branch of the Hellenic Mathematics Society, member of the board in Hellenic Statistical Institute (1994-2006) and he is also a member of the Managing Committee at the Greek branch of Association of Balkan Statisticians since 1997He has also been adjunct manager of the Project “Career Services Office” at Aristotle University (2000-2001), member of the board in the Educational Research Centre (2000-2004), representative of the Hellenic Ministry of Education in EUROSTAT and national representative at FP6 Initiative 7 (Citizens and Governance in Knowledge Society). He is member of the Committee for Control of Public surveys (established following agreement of the Committee with the Ministry of Media) He is responsible for vocational training of the Political Science Department and the program: “Innovation and entrepreneurship”. He is administrator of the Hellenic section of the CSS (COMPARATIVE CANDIDATES SURVEY) Program which is a cooperation of 30 research units.

He represents Greece in the COST action with title “The True European Voter: A Strategy For Analysing the Prospects of European Electoral Democracy that Includes the West, the South and the East of the Continent (TEV) (ISCH Action IS0806) approved in November 2008. He is member of the Management Committee of the COST Action: ISCH Action IS0806 The True European Voter: A Strategy For Analysing the Prospects of European Electoral Democracy that Includes the West, the South and the East of the Continent (TEV) including 30 countries. This Action is about identification and analysis for the history, methods and data for elections and electoral behaviour research. He is involved in the PIREDEU Program (European University of Rome) working in analysis of the recent European elections as regards to the parties, the public opinion and candidates.

He is responsible of the greek helpmevote VAA (http://helpmevote.gr). The current electronic platform is a common initiative of the Applied Political Research Lab (Dept. of Political Science, AUTH) and the e-Democracy Centre of the Aarau e-Democracy Centre (ZDA) in Zurich University. Development and technical support have been done by Pit Solutions. This is an independent research initiative.

Nikolaos Frangos is an expert executive with proven experience in the successful creation and implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in large organizations. He was a Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Emporiki Bank Group / Credit Agricole Group and is now a Senior Consultant for Information Security and Information Systems Control. He has studied Electrical Engineering at the Rutgers University, USA, and has a Master’s degree in Organization and Business Administration. He also holds the C | CISO, CISA, CGEIT certifications. He has over 26 years of experience in multinational companies (HP, Citibank, ANZ) and has held positions in Information Security, Information Technology, Information Systems Control, Business Continuity and Risk Assessment. He has done a variety of seminars and presentations in prestigious institutions and educational institutions such as the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the National Technical University of Athens, the Hellenic American Union, the European Network and Internet Security Agency (ENISA).

Marios Eleftheriadis studied at the University of Birmingham in England for 4 years Mechanical Engineering, Manufacture & Management and awarded the degree of Master of Engineering and Management. He worked for 6 years at the London office of Arthur Andersen Chartered Accountants, and became an ACA of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and later received his Practicing Certificate in England.
He continued to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of the UK – degree ATII. He worked for 4 years at the Tax Department of the Athens office of Arthur Andersen and followed the 9-month course on Greek taxation at ELKEPA. Furthermore, passed the 5 subjects (on Greek taxation and Greek company law) to earn his Practicing Certificate from the Greek Institute of Statutory Auditors (SOEL).
He worked for 6 years at the Audit department of PKF Euroauditing SA in Athens. He became an equal shareholder at BDO Certified Auditors SA in Athens with his own clientele. He was also the International Tax Liaison with the foreign firms members of BDO International.
He attended seminars in mathematical finance and actuarial mathematics at the Greek Institute of Actuaries and he is qualified to calculate the value of financial derivatives and also the necessary technical reserves of insurance contracts and employee benefit plans.
He also performs business valuations using the well known model CAPM.
He has been a member of the tri-partite Audit Committee of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund from January 2017 until June 2020.

Constantine Nikolaou is an entrepreneur and business development consultant from Athens, Greece. He has been active from a young age in the business segments of automotive and real estate. He is an alumni of the University of Derby of UK with Masters Studies in Business Administration (MBA). He has also received an Executive Diploma in Financial Management from Mediterranean College in Athens, Greece. Earlier on he had studied Material Science in the University of Patras in Greece and he is an alumni of Ziridis Schools in Athens, Greece. He has participated in more than ten international conferences and forum in Greece and internationally on Economics, Business and Politics (The Hague International Model United Nations, Private Equity and Startups Forum, Panorama of Business and Career and other). His Master’s studies dissertation on “The Leadership Skills that influence performance in an Organizational Context” was presented and published on the World Conference on Management, Business and Economics in Paris, France on March 2021.

Studied Geology in the University of Athens and holds a PGD in Geophysics from the University of Leeds and an MBA Global from University of Derby. Proven record of producing focused insights and actionable business ideas in global organisations. Has 10 years working experience in Sales, Data Analysis and Forecasting, Market Research and Insights positions in multinational companies (such as Intralot, Vermantia). Always up-to-date with Current and Future Trends monitoring the Global and Local market.

A graduate of Democritus University of Thrace, Department of International Economic Relations and Development. She has gained a Master’s Degree in Business and Economics Strategy from the University of Piraeus. She has ten years of experience in the following fields: retail audit measurement, market research, consumer research and analytics/ insightsShe has worked at: Altec, Agrino, IRI Analytics Center of Excellence, IRI Greece, Chipita, Phillip Morris/ Papastratos, Mytilineos/ Aluminum of Greece.

Ada Markakis, MSc graduated from Lycée Leonin Nea Smyrni and studied Psychology at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She made Postgraduate studies in France (Toulouse) with professional direction on Developmental Psychology for Children and Adolescents. Her professional training includes topics concerning the children’s and adolescents’ development in the family and the school as well as the use of  diagnostic tools.

She works in Greece and in France in early special education structures in the evaluation and the assessment of children with learning, emotional and mental difficulties, administering tests of intelligence and projective tests (personality test), design tests  and other scales, working with parents and teachers.

She works as psychologist and training expert in Centers that deal with Learning Disabilities issues, communication difficulties and behavioral problems. She is coordinator in children groups with behavioral problems, psychosocial or emotional difficulties. She works as counselor with children and she is one of the first scientists that brought parent training in Greece as a service provided to parents. She collaborates with “Evgenidio Therapeftirio” as well as “Evaggelismos Hospital”  in research programs.

Kyriakos Petropoulos is Mathematician, with a degree from the Mathematics Department of  the Kapodistrian University of Athens with expertise and experience in applied mathematics. He has worked in the IT sector, the Marketing as well as the Pharmaceutical Sector. He has teaching experience in the private education sector for over seven years. He specializes in Game theory techniques. 

Mariantina Papalevizopoulou, MSc studied Computer Science in University of Piraeus. She made her postgraduate studies in Athens University of Economics and Business in Human Resources Management specializing in HR information systems. She has also completed a second master’s program at Hellenic American University in the Computer Science focusing in Data Mining. She is working in the private sector as a Software Developer and she has experience in very important projects of Warehouse Management in multinational companies and large organizations. She has worked in large companies and organizations such as the D.E.I., Altectelecoms and Saralee company. She has teaching experience in the public sector in computer science. She speaks English and French. She has presented various scientific papers in International Conferences.
